Design/Build Plus

This unique, turn-key approach to producing and delivering a building project offers you tremendous advantages in cost, time and quality.
The goal is to provide all of the services required so that when you walk in the doors of your new, finished building, your business can be up and running.

Here’s how it works:  You begin by hiring Eriksen Construction in partnership with an architect or engineer.  You may select your own architect/engineer, or we will select one we know to have the best experience for your type of project.

From day one, Eriksen Construction and the architect/engineer work as a team to design and construct your building.  The first step is to determine your project needs and draw up an initial plan and cost estimate.  Step two is a formal plan, strict budget and actual construction.

Design/Build Plus places a higher standard of care and accountability on us and lower risk for you….because now we become the single source of responsibility for delivering the total project package at the agreed-upon cost.

What’s unique about our approach is that we have also formed partnerships with experts in other professional services to offer solutions to all of your project needs…..a turn-key package that can be planned and integrated into your building project from the very beginning.

COST SAVINGS

Our input at the design stage helps guide the architect/engineer to more cost-efficient means of construction while maintaining the functionality, integrity of design, and eye-pleasing appearance you desire for your building.

This team approach virtually eliminates the change of costly, schedule-delaying change orders.

Architectural fees are also reduced because the bidding process is eliminated.

TIME SAVINGS

Working with the architect/engineer from day one allows us to get a jump on construction.  We can begin site preparation and assemble crews and equipment before plans are actually finalized, often saving months in construction time.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

Instead of having to deal with just the lowest bidders, Design/Build Plus allows us to assemble a team --- the right architect, the best subcontractors with the right experience, that we know and trust to meet your expectations of quality.
